| Comments: | The Spads were the last of the prop driven attack bombers and I had the distinct pleasure of maintaining them both as a plane captain and electronics tech. My dungarees and shoes were never the same after plane captain duty. The oil stains had a way of becoming part of ones uniform… a badge I wore proudly. |
